Comparing Vets best work 30-40 yrs later to everything they drop isn’t a diss. Also wit all these goofy “rappers” Cube rhyme scheme not that bad “before hip hop” he’s flowin. I’m starting to agree with Andre 3K rap fans either trend hopping or dissing, you can’t win.

Nah in 2025 alone it renders Andre’s statements false. There have been multiple solid to very good albums from long time vets, and honestly even before 2025. Wayne is washed, and Cube overall might be as well, at least based on a lot of this album. 3K is clearly an elite artist that’s just scared. The amount of current producers that would seamlessly fit with him is crazy, and should go ahead and stop being scared.

3000 said himself that he was scared. He told Rick Rubin that he's worried about not being able to live up to his own expectations. But I think it's also living up to what he did with 'Kast. And he said this while doing mad features.

But he knows stepping out on his own is something completely different. He's scared as a MF.
