Just like Hamlet, every generation gets their Invasion of the Body Snatchers. We're getting ours

‘Invasion of the Body Snatchers’ Remake in the Works at Warner Bros.

The 70s one is still my favorite but the 50s one is awesome. The 90s one is interesting and good but not on the level of the first two. And the less said about the Invasion, the better

So who should direct this? I feel like this movie is a layup for the time we're in now

They probably get dude doing all the remakes, Denis Villanueve. Ain't he doing Dune too?

Yeah him. He can use that same composer who uses all those weird sounds. It'll work .

Actually not a bad idea:russ: and he'd have something to say as well but it might be the inverse of Arrival

I liked 78 of course, Donald Sutherland nuff said....and '93 is good fun to me. That's pretty much my gen, since I was a teenager then

I actually like the '94 Puppet Masters (also with Donald Sutherland) more than '93 Body Snatchers.

I haven't seen the '50's one in like 20 years, so I only vaguely remember it.

Watched it a couple summers ago on either TCM or HDNET movies. So damn good and so on point. Any time the movies nail the satire of the time they're in and really have something to say, they work
