Yoooo this crazy cuz I randomly threw this track on earlier today in the car while I was looking thru the “newest” tracks on Tidal playlist or whatever the fucc its called

and it was honestly my first time really hearing the kid J.I.D. music at all like that and once I heard this particular track with no preconceived notions or idea of what I was about to hear I was instantly like “shyt!”
:mjlol:But ina good way tho fasho

Like mane I should’ve BEEN up on this cat from the get go, but of course I put off taking the time to actually ever listen to him like that smh so now I gotta go listen to it all
:snoop:
But it’s better late to the party than never

He got some DOPE other tracks too that I heard so far! gotdamn it mane! I think it was one called “never” and that shyt slapped fasho, beat thumped on that one too
:obama:
I forgot the other names of some other dope tracks I heard on the drive but I’m sure other brehs on here are more hip to him than me obviously (think I’ve seen a few threads on here)

but it’s always dope/fun getting put onto dope “new” (to you) artists. I love going back thru discographies and finding bangers
:ohlawd::noah:

Anyways...
Kid nice

I’m only up on Cole, Bas, Cozz and that’s about it breh and now J.I.D I guess

Isn’t EarthGang a separate group from ATL or some shyt?

Earthgang is part of Dreamville too. Both them and J.I.D. alongside 6lack and others from ATL together call themselves Spillage Village.

Dreamville as a whole is J. Cole, Bas (who's older brother is co-founder with Cole of the label), Cozz, Omen, Ari Lennox, J.I.D. and Earthgang. Dreamville is damn near on the same footing of talent as TDE.

Not to Dreamville itself (although he does have a joint song with J. Cole) . 6lack is associated with J.I.D and Earthgang and part of Spillage Village which is similar to Native Tongues, Juice Crew and Dungeon Family.
