New Jack City Prequel/Sequel in the works

A prequel....

The original NJS took place between 1986 and 1991 so if we go back to when they were kids...maybe the 70s to early 80s.

It can work as long as they avoid too much anachronistic shyt...especially the music. Don't do some 70s movie but have modern trap music all over the intro and different scenes.

People need to use lingo from that time period. Can't have young Nino talmbout "that was mad fresh" in 1972. He needs to sound like a New Yawk Nikka in 1972.

Hopefully, Nino will be as animated as he was in the original.


Maybe Damson Idris will play Young Nino .

Kodak Black can play the Duh Duh Man

Jessie Williams can play a Young Scotty Appleton(a little backstory of his life after Nino killed his Mom would be good)


I wonder who would do the soundtrack though...

Christopher Williams is old so maybe we can have Jacquees do the theme song and have Future executive produce the soundtrack
