I have a feeling Budden from 5 years ago would have executed this more effectively .


I liked some of it ... There's some nice lines. But he really didn't hit home like he could have. He's lacking ferocity.

I agree...I think the fact that he didn't really wanna diss Kendrick made him ease up

Exactly . Not that he even had a solid reason to diss (he wasn't named) . But the fact that he was explaining that this wasn't meant to be disrespectful in his reply , comes across as weak .

Like he was scared of what might happen if he was taken the wrong way.

Made the whole thing lose impact .

keeping it 100... the Shady deal really neutered all 4 of them SH nikkas, and I'm a big fan of Royce, Joe and Joell. But let's be real
the albums have underachieved really
Joell & Royce haven't really done much as far as a solo career in what feels like ages.
Crook STILL hasn't really developed into a worthwhile solo artist.
Joe chilled the fukk out and fell in love, and lost some of that edge.
I feel like Joell and Royce kinda changed their styles up to "better" fit in with that doubletime shyt Em does and Crook sometimes does, too. I hated that shyt.
Kinda wish this group never happened tbh

Stupid Joe Budden wants to generate a similar buzz to Kendrick's original verse with his, so he distastefully goes and belittles and insults the rappers aimed by Kendrick, the best to do to an attention whore like Budden is ignore him...

Agree fully . I've said this before but : I went from listening to 09 tracks like 'Fight Club' anticipating these guys output fully..

To barely even wanting to listen to any of them period .

The gradual decline could be plotted out on a line graph , with a massive plummet where Eminem's involvement sits on the axis .

Definition of wasted talent.

man, i can't feel these dudes with these stiff, same ol same ol, 2001 mixtape flows, shyt is so bland and boring. Kendrick ate this shyt better than everybody who has responded, except Lupe, but Lupe was on some whole other shyt.
