In Dallas, From Cleveland
Lyrics were better on paper, than listening to the song itself....

It was cool, but nothing really memorable... And won't make me check for future Buddens projects

I'm reading the verse and all I hear in my head is: old rappers trying to advance :pachaha:

These :flabbynsick: rappers should have stayed out this battle :pacspit:

:childplease: of all the lines to pick to bolster your point this is what you come up with?? :russ:

fukk is your problem? The quote fits perfectly, because Kendrick did exactly what Jay said, he dropped a little verse and half of NY has their panties in a bunch...and I don't even like Kendrick that much, but he made a strong chess move against all of these wannabe NY kings. And the sad part is, of all the responses, Kendrick still has the best verse (Joell came closest).

You kind of right, breh. :ld: I just said what I said to see you react. :ehh: Don't even ask me how. :whoo:

Minor differences, though:

Jay wasn't just trying to see Nas react. He seemed to be baiting that man to challenge him for the throne.

Likewise. K-Dot wasn't just trying to provoke a reaction from NY. He seemed to be trying to advance and elevate the game.

Zero replay value... I've digressed as a Budden's fan. His music just doesn't hit like it used to.
