I think that was me to be honest, I'm not saying it's run into the ground it just feel inorganic. It's not my thing either. I'm in all honestly mostly hating but on the "chakra" "black god" tip jay elec is more authentic to me and he's more subtle. The reason I don't like ab-soul is because he's giving out information that's enough to get people into it but not enough to entice them to look further into.

I do agree with the Jay elect being more authentic and subtle

i think ab just gets excited talking about that shyt so he refers to it a lil more

hope he doesn't run it into the ground tho

I like ab-soul, I think he's dope. I just was hoping he would go a lil more in depth.

we all learn as we go. his style might mature over time. i just think its deeper than bohemian grove punchlines. his style reflects his rumored situation of sacrifice though and I find that even more interesting.

I like jay elec and he's obviously light years better but he has a similar stigma. work with puff, then jayz, to wifing up elite family bloodlines. Its funny when people say its deeper than rap.

I leave room for error but is this life imitating art or vice versa? :term:

Ab killed this. I gotta check for this Joey Bada$$' new material too. I like Ab's subject matter, don't think he reaches too hard. The only song I found him to speak on those supernatural topics very in-depth was 'Nibiru' but i even found that dope, can't knock him for having his own lane. I read in an interview that kendrick's hiiipower song was Ab's thoughts that he had kendrick perform too

to be fair, the concept of the annunaki & all that ancient alien shyt is interesting when you first hear about it & it's just as insane as any religion out there. i've read a couple of books on it and they make it seem more plausible, the tv show is pure comedy. the books say a lot of shyt that is just flat out lies (like sizes and weights of stones and the ages of structures) but you wouldn't know a lot of it unless it was pointed out or you knew the truth in the first place.
