It looks like they purposely choose kids that looked like each father. So it looked like the driver was the father of the lighter toned son and the passenger was the father of the darker toned kid.

I saw this and immediately saw 2 hetro male friends taking both of their sons on a male bonding trip. This commercial is mad positive and we need more like it.
