Love Lord Finesse, good to hear him give some history of DITC, plus talk about the Dre connection. I respect how Rosenberg came at him a little for coming across standoff-ish. I do get that vibe from him.
They did a pretty good job with this one, salute.

Great interview

Wish they talked about Lord Finesse vs Lords Of The Underground

Didn't know him and Joe had issues

Not that much to it really.

1. He didn't like how they called themselves "Lords", he was the only ""Lord" out there.
2. They had no "Underground" rep to speak of. They popped outta nowhere with a big promotional push & 5 videos.
3. He probably didn't think they were all that nice.

Also they took a Showbiz & AG loop DIRECTLY from their album (not just the same sample) for a 'Chief Rocka' remix...

Cipha getting let go from Hot 97 has been the best thing that ever happened to Juan EP. Lol. I need to find more of Finesse's music the songs played in the podcast sounded great.

One of my closest friends in middle school used to beg us to listen to Lord Finesse's Return of the Funky Man album when it dropped back then.

We used to sit around and just go crazy over that album! Dude was so next level to us. That was the album that turned us all into DITC addicts. Every album that dropped after that, up until Diamond's second joint was played ridiculously too much. I've gotten the chance to meet and chill with Finesse a bunch of times since then. Easily one of the coolest cats you'd ever meet in Hip Hop. Nothing but respect for him and DITC. They were like heroes to us back in the day.
