We're still awating a release date to be fixed for M.I.A's new album "Matangi", but that ain't stopping the London singer-rapper from premiering new songs from the much-anticipated project for our listening pleasure.

Sounds like M.I.A.'s been going through some of the same industry frustrations that Kanye West has discussed in his renegade leadup to Yeezus. "It's not easy, it's not easy. It's not easy. I keep finishing the record and handing it in, finishing the record and handing it in," she told Lowe about the record release cycle.
"It's just one of those things where I've given up at this point. I was literally going to start... putting out records from my bedroom," she said. "This was my last stab at it-- I'm going to hand it in and wait for it to go out the way albums go out. If I didn't get it out right now, I would've definitely exploded."
In related M.I.A. news, Matangi, her fourth studio LP, is now scheduled for fall release through N.E.E.T./Interscope.
