I wonder if he was a conspirator. Is Harlem grimey like that? Amsterdam and Adam Clayton Powell street looks like a scene from a 1960s movie from the windows of the greyhound bus or the megabus. Makes me want to read "Manchild in the Promised Land" by Claude Brown. I never read his "Children of Ham" description of growing up in Harlem.
