this trashy cac family moved in upstairs. ive already had to go up there to talk to them about their obese child running around at 5am when im trying to sleep. i saw inside their apartment a lil bit when talking to the dad and it was :scust:

i had duct taped some boxes for storage and i opened one this morning and there was a big ass roach stuck to it. if youve ever had roaches you know they love to eat shyt like the glue out of books, tape, etc. damn near anything. anyways.. this shyt is unacceptable. we pay $975 for a one bedroom apartment! i shouldnt have to deal with nasty ass roaches. my grandma had roaches when i was a kid and i still remember finding one in the last glass of juice poured out of a pitcher... :scusthov:

ive already tried talking to them. i talked to the lady at the management building and she got an attitude with me, telling me pest control cant spray for TWO WEEKS *and* i have to put in a request.

so i ask you coli, what can i do to make these cacs lives hell until they move out? i already beat on the ceiling twice a day cause they stomp constantly. i cant take this shyt anymore.

please help
This may not be what you wanna hear, but you honestly get what you pay for. A $1400 apartment filters out such people and garuntees a staff that actually cares about your predicament.

You just gonna have to move and take the L. After putting in the request to mgmt to fix the issue, I think you can typically break the lease after 60ish days

i used to have an upstairs neighbor where i swear they must have had a night job cuz i would only hear them walking/stomping in the early morning. i never complained, i always figured that was part of living in an apartment
like, what was management going to say.... stop walking around so hard?! 🤷‍♀️

Dallas, Texas but living in Houston, Texas
Unfortunately you got to move, breh. If management is not going to do anything to help your going to have to deal with it or bounce.

From my experience living in apartments, even if you keep your place spotless, take out the trash consistently, etc, if your neighbors are filthy, their filth will spread.

You could call and outside exterminator to come to your apartment and spray but you'll have to pay out of pocket.

Move to a new place, and leave a milk & chicken bomb in your vent on your way out. The smell will get in their apartment, too.

Yeah it's one of those lessons you have to learn the hard way. If you're renting, you might have to pay extra to keep the undesirables out :mjpls:
