They got ahold of it early then cuz the first bounce songs I ever heard was some Katey Red and Vockha Radu shyt. And that was in the mid 90’s. Wasn’t until after No Limit and Cash Money blew up that I heard shyt like 5th Ward Webbie. Then in the early 2000’s that dude Choppa Style on No Limit had that song that sounded just like the the Katey Red/Sissy bounce shyt with the same hook, same call and response type shyt that I heard about 5-6 years prior on them Tranny rap tapes my cousin from Hollygrove would come up my way playing. I think some of y’all doing revisionist history on this one brehs:patrice:
