As far as I'm concerned, other than the kid dying, this is the saddest part of the whole story. You're not the only one who 'forgot'.

A lot of nikkas who were all "Justice for Trayvon" back then are now paying more attention to Rick Ross canceling concerts due to threats, and the Lakers taking L's

It seems that nowadays, important cases like this are more like temporary internet memes, instead of being stories that can consistently hold the attention of the public offline from beginning to end....and even beyond

Most people won't give a fukk about this case again until verdict time. Mind you, the media will be all up on the trial as it progresses, but most people ain't gonna watch it close like that. They just basically wanna know if dude is going to prison or not; forget the actual facts of the case. And then after the verdict will be the initial reaction of joy/anger.....then like a month later some other scandal will get everyone's attention, and that'll be the end of that

Same thing is going to happen with this "Sandy Hook" thing. It sucks but this is just the new "flavor of the month" topic. I forgot about the Batman shooting as well. Its crazy how desensitized we've become.

Didn't he chase the kid down an alley? He deserved to get his ass beat. But he found out the hard way that he couldn't fight so he shot Tm to get him off of him.

Can you really use self defense when you start the fight?
