People saying Prodigy fell off, but he sounds excellent on this and pretty much any ALC beat he's rhymed on since coming home. His voice fits these dark beats perfectly. I'm not expecting him to rhyme like he did in the 90's and early 2000's. But I'm a big fan of HNIC 2 and Product of the 80's. And Return of the Mac is ALC's best project by FAR imo. If P can get back to that level, which it sounds like he's on track to do, I'll be more than satisfied.

I love covert coup, but I like prodigy as a rapper much better than curren$y. and if the tracks are gonna be similar quality wise, this shyt will be better. esp given this new P album will have more songs.

I think you can make an argument that Covert Coup is right there with return of the Mac. They're both incredible. I have 360 Waves and No Idols behind that, with Rare Chandeliers in last place of these collab albums so far.

I honestly think the Step Bros Lord Steppington album this summer with Evidence has a chance to be the best of them all. Or at least top 2 or 3. I'm def glad this Prodigy album has 16 joints.

Agree with everything said :salute:

I forgot about Return of the Mac :wow: That might have been the album that made me an Alchemist stan.

I didn't like 360 waves that much at all. but I fukks heavy with ROTM. I also fukk with no idols. that turned out well. I agree, that evidence/alchemist album could be serious, but I think evidence is weaker on the mic than P. that being said, I have enjoyed his solo releases, and it should be dope.

Covert Coup is good, great even. But I'll take ROTM over most albums in general.

1. Return of the Mac
2. 1st Infantry
3. Covert Coup
4. Rare Chandeliers
5. The Cutting Room Floor
6. Russian Roulette
7. The Antidote (Fashawn)
8. The Gangrene projects
9. No Idols
10. 360 Waves

:damn: Alchemist gotta' be one of the greatest!

Just peep this one video. He's improved so much even since 2010/2011. If you don't fukk with Ev after this I'll let it go.

the whole point abt art is to spit your truth. If p wants us to believe that he is still in the streets packing burners and dumping bodies in Land fills I'll say this STL - Stop The Lies.

this is retro rap and he has no right to spitting lyrics when he's a mid 30s dude from the 90s. This is backward.

If the music sounds good (which it does), then who gives a fukk? :childplease:
