i don't know how much i care why a politician does what they do... if a politician is promoting policies i agree with and their feet can be held to the fire to implement those policies then i'm okay with it... i'm not looking for benevolence... however, if a politician can't be counted on to support policies i agree with, well then it's a non-starter.....
So who cares if she doesn't personally believe what she is saying as long as she follows through? I can get with that.

She's made the fastest and clearest move left from a centrist position. But the shift has me wondering how quickly she would jump back if she believed the policies would help her career.

Her positions seem to move with what's popular.

You can't be mad at that.

Nah man. She's just going where the winds blowing. Has less support from progressives/left than Bernie and has angered a portion of the more centrist wing of the party over the Franken situation. The sudden turn to being more progressive comes across more opportunistic than anything. Track record isn't as good.

Random: I honestly dont know but I feel like looking like Hillary works against her :yeshrug: lol.

Has Hillary’s Senate seat

Is 20 years younger

A year and a half ago, the Clintonites were pegging her. Now she broke away from them but also alienated a lot of Minnesotans over Al Franken.

Hillary barely won Minnesota in 2016...

Not mad at all, she represents the people and so following the polls actually makes a good bit of sense. I just think it's important to acknowledge that potential allies like these are only going to stick around while they think it will win them elections; I consider them political opportunists because I don't think you can pin centrist, leftist, progressive, neoliberal or any other title to them that would inform their policies long term. She's a progressive for the time being and I'm cool with the additional messaging...she's always seemed good at messaging to me.
