sports have clear winners. Take the mayweather/Canelo fight for example, dude went the distance with Floyd and lost. Is he going to drop in the rankings? Yes. Did he prove he could compete with the elite? Yes. Ain't nobody saying he lost so he isn't top tier anymore.

Battles are a matter of opinion most of the time. I'm not disagreeing that vets lose that hunger over time but saying a dude isn't top tier off one bad performance is ridiculous. Anybody can have a bad night, when they start having multiples then its an issue. Dudes like x-factor and young ill are guys you gotta look at like that.

We all like who we like and dislike who we dislike. That's what all these "rankings" represent. The fact that cats in here are saying shyt like "on a good day" or "when he's on his shyt" says it all. How many of you nikkas just named hitman and he just came off the worst 3rd round in the history of battles? What about his losing streak? If we judging of one performance at a time him and con ain't top tier anymore and clips has never had a 3rd. Depending on who you say won, either hollow of surf lost. So do they drop in the "rankings"? Top tier battlers that show up and half ass it will eventually get washed. O-red just did it to Ill and rex. TODD did it to x-factor.

Hitman has been good in his last 3 battles breh. He's easily top 5, one bad 3rd round doesn't/shouldn't change that.

you cant rank nikkas in battle rap. its all performance based. You can have bad performances and great performances, its pretty much how you come to the table. The reason the top tier are the top tier is because they have more great performances than bad ones.

The top tier are top tier due to popularity, views and resume nothing really to do with performance. Poor performance come down to the lack of prep, which is where choking and stumbling sponsored by Earl comes in.

when i say performance i mean all those things. having consistent good perfomances is what makes them top tier. you can't say a dude isn't top tier off one shaky night and you can't rank battlers wins are subjective and debatable. Battle rap = the BCS
