chronicles of riddikk was decent 2 me, the concept was raw, but the execution lacked finesse, lord marshal and the necro army backstory alone made the movie worth watching 2 me. im kinda disappointed they're basically gonna combine pitch black with chronicles and not just go with riddikk commanding his necro army, or travelling 2 the underverse and seein what thats about, maybe they'll touch on these things in the movie but i was hopin that they atleast show son on his lord riddikk swag b4 his goons betray him. a lord riddikk movie with him pillaging the underverse out of spite would've had potential given 2 the right director.............................i'll reserve judgement until the shyt drops tho

Universal Sets Release Date For 'Riddikk' - Deadline.com

Universal Pictures has announced it will release the sci-fi pic Riddikk on September 6, 2013. Riddikk is the third chapter of the saga that began with 2000′s Pitch Black and 2004′s The Chronicles Of Riddikk. The film reunites writer/director David Twohy (A Perfect Getaway, The Fugitive) and The Fast And The Furious star Vin Diesel, who reprises his role as the antihero Riddikk, a dangerous, escaped convict wanted by every bounty hunter in the known galaxy.

2013 is going to be a great year for movies.
