i couldn't get into it......it was hard to focus like you said the whole pace of the show didn't allow you to even digest or get into any of the characters...and the "acting" was too forced.....

It's weird but it's one one of those things where they haven't hit their groove yet. So the characters, the way it's shot and edited looks weird. That's why I'm giving it about 5 eps. Plenty of shows have that awkward look and feel at first. Some really are awkward. (ie season 1 of its always sunny vs season 8) then some hit there stride (ie season 1 of entourage vs that last season) when the timing is off its like the characters are afraid to pause or have a silent second or the editors cut them all off so it just seems like they are rattling off lines but once they are comfortable and hit their stride they can deliver lines at a normal speaking pace, pause and not miss a beat.
Yea that's why Im not writing the show off just yet. But I think they def need to slow down. It's like in just 2 episodes (40 minutes) theyve managed to stuff in jadakiss, Freddie gibbs, and the entire cast of the brewakfast club. nikkas went from unsigned hype to fighting freddie gibbs, recording a diss tack against him and them having a label bidding war, in just two episodes. Just seems like alot to digest in just a short amount of time. Thats damn near an entire seasons worth of material lol.

in episodes 3,4,5 and 6. they will have had a falling out, one dude becomes the greatest rapper ever and sells the most albums, wins multiple awards, marries the hottest chick in the game, has a kid, then gets killed.
