It definitely didn't live up to expectations but I don't think it was horrible. PVP was fixed for the most part
People are not doing it justice by saying "the story is dope."
Imagine doing an instance where you have a mixed group of different ideologies. You get a vote system where you roll between 1 and 100 to "make the decision."
If you win, you get it, if you lose, you get to roll 101-200 next time to guarantee someone who just won doesnt chain win.
Now, what does this mean?
Let's say you happen to have a group where most of the people are nice guys. 3 light side, 1 dark side.
The question is, "Should we shut down the defenses OR open the vents which would send the scientists into space, killing them for no reason other then to fukking kill scientists."
All the good guys pick shut down the defenses but the sith wins.
You then get a cinematic where his character presses a button while you and your allies watch in horror as innocent people die. Then he talks shyt to you. LOL U MAD.
That is what TOR is about. Really funny ass decisions with extreme consequences.

no. the game came out in like 2010. The game you linked is the first game which wasnt an MMO at all.
