It's probably a good a idea to have a private sub forum for "sensitive topics".

Something like a JBO, but for Controversial issues that center around injustices.

I just think it's a good idea for the health and longevity of this site.

I don't want to see anyone caught up or this site shut down. :hubie:

Its gonna get posted in TLR anyways cuz people like attention and creating controversy. There are subforums for various topics and I still see threads made in TLR because posters feel like they'll be better put there. And not just race or politics or any controversial threads but just random shyt in general that could go in like film room, colosseum, etc. They just know that none of that controversial shyt would fly in the other forums for the most part. SO might be a good idea but don't know if it would be as effective.

TLR is a hot mess. I agree with the sentiment @Serious but I feel like these people will still flood the forum as @mannyrs13 pointed out
I mean I get the trolling, frustration and culture of TLR, but some conversations shouldn't be in public view.

s there a way we can block certain threads from public view, while allowing it to stay in TLR.

Is that not what higher learning is for?
You may think so but its called "higher learning" and I hear its not exactly that way in there. Plenty of complaints I see on here originating from that subforum. so if thats the place for sensitive topics then might as well just stick to tlr. especially now with an election year going on.
