I got the 3 Tomb Raider games deep in my backlog.

Is it worth running through them? I heard mixed things about them.
First one is solid. 2 is just aite. 3 is..... well its a mess, but it looks good.

Not bad for a reboot trilogy all things considered :manny: the commentary around all the games made shyt hard to discuss objectively anyways. I didn't even realize there'd been a whole Uncharted v Tomb Raider debate until I looked online for example.

Damnit and now the Survivor trilogy is no longer on sale. I guess I'll wait again, I heard a lot of good things about the series.

Yeah that's why I never got a good read on these games cause I knew bots were propping up these games to spite Uncharted, similar to what's going on with Horizon and Elden Ring.

How long is each game?

Could be interesting. The trilogy was pretty good until the third game. I played the first hour or two of it, and ended up putting it down because it just wasn't grabbing me.

What's interesting is that this would give them three games they're working on between their work on Perfect Dark, this, and ongoing development on Avengers.

Do they have enough staff to actually do all this? Or is one of those other two games coming off their plate?

they obviously ain't supporting avengers like that anymore and they straight up shouldn't either. the wakanda expansion showed they're out of their depth

i don't pay attention to a lot of the back and forth if i can help it.... just makes games less fun in general

but i'd say about 25-35 hours each? give or take ofc. any bundle now would have all the DLC included too i think

like someone else said - the third game is just...... weird and disjointed in a lot of ways.

Fair enough. I don't have much exposure to Avengers outside of playing the demo one weekend they rolled out, and playing the first couple of chapters when it hit Gamepass, and bushed it. Seemed like some mid at best, but I figured maybe it was like the first year of Destiny where it was in really bad shape, but had just enough content with potential to warrant hanging on. Apparently not.
