And the craziest part is that this is the ONLY promotion going on for the album. No lead single. No music video. No radio play. No crazy promo tour. Labels usually pour AT LEAST $500k into that type of stuff. Hopefully this type of promotion leads to better music, because there's no need for a Change Clothes or Bonnie & Clyde type song to push radio play and sales.I don't know why everybody getting their panties in a bunch over these commercials. "Their so fake and scripted!!!!!!" like rappers haven't been doing this type of thing since damn near forever. Jay and Kanye did it with that 10 minute promo for WTT, Nas and Damien did it for Distant Relatives, of COURSE it's scripted, but it gives you an idea of where the artist is coming from and their motivations for the album. Showing Jay in a studio with the best producers in the WORLD should get us all hyped up for the project. The promo is just that, PROMOTION. EVERY rapper would be so lucky as to have promotion of this caliber.....
