Cousin you don't sound Jamaican at all :dead: you sound pure South England to me. I've been to Jamaican restaurants in the UK. I went to one in Nottingham and befriended the owner. She used to say shyt to her employees like, "Tyake kyare a Sukairain fi mi. Goat curry and jerk chicken, rice and peas" :mjgrin:

I've been told by a lot of my friends that I should start podcasting, because I love to share what I've learned, and because they say I'm good at giving speeches and presentations and shyt like that. But I've always worried that my voice wasn't great for podcasting. So it's very reassuring and pleasing to hear stuff like what you've written about my voice and accent :myman:

I speak what is known as standardized Jamaican English or "uptown" english. What you are reffering to is Patois, which isnt my natural way of speaking. I am perfectly capable of speaking it but it isnt the way I naturally speak. Not all Jamaicans speak the same or have the same accent sometimes the accents are determined by region or socio economic status.
