I can't speak on what kind work Waka put in, but he been around gangsta's his whole life. His uncle BIG Frenchie was an OG in Queens, which is where he grew up. Then movin' to Atlanta, he been around Gucc and others. And his brother Wooh put in some work too.

Probably cause that's exactly how he was portraying himself early on, as if he'd do time or die for Gucci Mane. Some of those songs people were aimlessly nodding their heads to from Waka featured lyrics like that damn near verbatim.
