Why would I want to play my music off youtube? I see no point, the sound is worse, the ads, having to have my phone "active" and wasting more battery to play off youtube. Spotify is damn near native to the phone and desktop app is top notch, seems like a waste of time converting it to youtube, a more cumbersome and lesser sounding platform.

In the car....plug phone into USB, control spotify thru home screen
At work....desktop app running in the background
At home...stream music to speakers from phone or ipad

I don't see where a youtube playlists makes anything better or easier....

before it becomes mp3, you gotta convert it from youtube right? what a waste. quality suffers. is there a way to download mp3s directly from spotify?

Youtube is still the last platform I'd even consider...so many other ways to have the same playlist "saved" elsewhere.

I never understood why people like YouTube do much for music. That just eats up my data plan
