That's the thing, it can't be everything on equal terms. Some things take precedence over others. Nothing that has happened suggests that winning is paramount for him at this point.
Did you read the rest of my post?

Winning in cleveland will mean Lebron is always brought up in NBA history as a winner and legend. Especially when you add the narrative of going back home to win.

Did you read any of mine? If winning is on equal footing as PR and narrative there are other place he could have gone. The fact that he went to the place with the greatest PR bump suggests that PR and narrative trumps winning because he could have won elsewhere but only one place gives him this narrative.

lebrun thinks he can win anywhere. And why shouldn't he?

Lebron's reached the point of no return...he has so much power in Cleveland its virtually impossible to get back into a traditional environment...especially somewhere with a big personality like Riley. If he just doesnt give a shyt, more power to him...but I think it stinks a player that good in his prime is throwing it away so he can be comfortable.

The Super Bowl isnt going anywhere, MSG isnt going anywhere....Ohio St will be good for the next 10 years...just a bizarre career turn.

I just think when the playoffs come around, do u really think the Bulls or Hawks are gonna be able to beat The Kang 4 out of 7 times? They'll get it together.

Let's be honest: Based on the Cavs team you've seen this yr, what gives you confidence that the Cavs will get it together? I'm surprised people think CLE will win more than a game or two in a series, let alone a couple rounds

Today, Windhorst pretty much said the players are tanking to get the coach fired while Lebron was on vacation and especially after the organization gave the coach a vote of confidence last week. looking at the Heat this year, i think Lebron made the right decision leaving when he did. Wade only playing this much because they don't have Lebron to run into the ground like they did the previous 4 years. Bosh is still off and on. Bron covered up more than i thought in regards to how bad Chalmers/Cole are since he brought the ball up most the time. Birdman is old and this Whiteside probably wouldn't have been on the team. Cavs will still get to 48/50 wins just because of Bron it but i still see the cavs losing in the 2nd round or ECF

They'd have to win 31 of their next 42 to break 50 wins. I'd be shocked if they won more than 40-42 games
