What I need is a hdmi dongle of sorts that will let me stream my games to the other TVs in my house instead of my Surface. Hopefully this Xbox stick is it.

Same thing I was thinking. If it can do that and the price is right (around $30-$40), might have to go ahead and cop an xbox this gen.

that's the whole point of the Steam Link and such. you can keep your computer in the other room, and play PC games on the bigscreen in the livingroom
