Sounds like you and your girl are fairly new together since you JUST now found out it's her favorite holiday.

First of all, why is it that her fav day?

Second of all it's probably the most unsafe holiday. Ppl shooting guns, fireworks, hella drunk drivers, cold weather usually.

Most Women are really hard headed so they don't care about safety until it's too late, but yeah, if she requires YOU to spend several hundred dollars on frivolous things, then that's not a good sign.

Not telling you to break up, but analyze the situation

It's kinda too late to plan anything that involves hotels, clubs or travel so I'm not sure what she could possibly expect so last minute but did she even mention wanting to go out? I mean just because NYE is her "favorite holiday" doesn't necessarily mean she's expecting an expensive, luxury experience tbh.

Then again Idk your girl but you do so does a night of champagne (maybe some weed) and appetizers at home sound like something she'd be down for? Maybe keep it lowkey and invite a couple people over, doesn't even have to be a big party, just an open invitation for people you know to stop by for a drink and some finger food either before or after midnight...

That being said, if she's actually expecting some kind of magical NYE@ the club in a VIP section you should probably rethink the relationship and drop her. Not for having high expectations, but poor communication.

go get dinner, pack a flask and watch some fireworks somewhere. If she ain’t down with that then get a new girl who doesn’t care about the amateur hour ass holiday that’s New Year’s Eve
This

And it doesn’t cost that much
