New York Brehs.....Is it worth it living in Manhattan according to the high rent?

I know San Francisco is the top dawg when it comes to high rent but since I live in Jersey.......I have always wondered, is it really worth it paying that amount of dough in Manhattan for a tiny place?

Studio apartment easily going for $3000 per month.
