The main actor does not appeal to me at all pause, looks like he belongs in a sitcom..

But I’m hearing it’s good, and Netflix is pushing it... the story sounds good, I’m just wondering if it won’t turn bad fast.

It’s good. I binged it.... it’s one of those slow burn build up cerebral shows that you have to pay attention to but it’s suspenseful enough for it to be engaging. There’s a film room thread about it . Bunch of interconnected plots from different crime or criminal minded families, drug cartel, mafia, redneck mafia, etc worth watching imo

I’m watching old NYPD Blue episodes, season 2 - it’s dope af.

But I’ma peep Episode 1 of Ozark now. Getting curious about it and hearing too many ppl saying it’s fire for it to be very bad.


The Americans made me very skeptical about hyped up shows with great IMDB ratings, that lady actor and the writing team (she acts well, her character is just terrible) are a real killer of what could’ve been at least a decent show.

But ok, not every show can be The Wire, 24, Breaking Bad or The Sopranos.

Let’s see about this Ozark.
