And its good enough with Sanchez?

:heh:

Garrard's last full season as starter he threw 23 TD's. Sanchez has thrown over 20 TD's once, in 2011, and he was also awful that season leading the league in turnovers.

Garrard if he's healthy cuts down on the mistakes and makes the correct throw. Sanchez has never been capable of that.

If you really put their stats together, only biggest differences are completion percentage and Int's. And this is with whom you place your faith :aicmon:

Look up the fumbles stat. They arent close.

Im not placing my faith in Garrard. There's just no reason to ever place faith in Sanchez ever again.

.I can point out his actual abilities....abilities YOU knew NOTHING about 30 minutes ago when asking:

I don't get how you can put your insights (blind faith....that's deep) on him shoulder to shoulder against others who've actually watched him. Those are the "shut the fukk up" moments whenever I talk about players I've never seen. Some need to learn that.

We've already had enough football arguments where you've came on the short end my dude when it came to assessing players. I'm done.

I'm not questioning if he can get it done or not, I'm only questioning what makes you think he can get it done, and you bringing up college tape :childplease:

Sanchez looked good in his only season in college, so yeah obviously college play doesn't tell the whole story.

Garrard looked slow as hell in dolphins camp last season... i'm surprised a team took him.

He makes the right throws and decisions but just does it very slow.

i almost feel bad for jet fans as I feel for the raiders

Garrard won't turn it over, which is a good thing, but don't expect him to be guy who makes that play either.

Can we cut Garrad and make a run at Chase?
Garrad was a decent QB, but at 35 his better days are behind him.

I'd rather rebuild around someone like Chase this year and see how it goes and if it doesn't work out, will almost certainly be drafting a top tier QB next season.

If it does work out, then we can focus our still early pick next season on filling the other holes in this team. :manny:

I hope so but nobody knows how healthy Revis is add in you have to pay him franchise qb type money to keep him

Tampa would make the most sense then bc they have a ton of cap room...but people always speculate Tampa and then they rarely make a move. Owners are cheap.

- Jets are reportedly targeting Mike Goodson to replace Shonn Green. - Goodson was acquired last preseason in a trade that sent offensive lineman Bruce Campbell to the Panthers. Goodson averaged 6.3 yards per carry for the Raiders last season. He makes for a nice speedy scat back behind Darren McFadden. On the flip side, he is seen as a zone blocking scheme running back and the Raiders are switching back to power blocking.
Goodson is good, but I'm not sure if he is capable of being an every down back for you guys. Plus, he has a tendency to fumble. But, he has some really nice speed though. :manny: But, he seems better served as a back-up running back.

We've been rocking back up running backs the last 3-4 years. :to:
