I seriously doubt anyone is gunna trade for Sanchez, if anyone does it won't be the Bills, they already have one overpaid "usually subpar but can get to average at best" type QB in Fitzpatrick. Chiefs got Andy Reid now and Andy Reid might be "The QB guru" but even Fat Andy will have the hova laugh face on if it was suggested he get Sanchez.

Sanchez would be a solid back up QB but this season was it for him as a starter.

Assuming the Jets will take on most of Salary

Philly, Arizona, KC and Oakland will all take a flier on Fez.

This years QB Class isn't that promising, a 4th and 7th might do it.

I forsee Sanchez on the Jets for at least one more year, and them making a move for someone like Alex Smith. McElroy hasn't proved himself for better or worse yet. As stated the QB draft class isnt anything special so its FA/trade or be stuck with the same shytbirds.

Does Tannenbaum still have a Job in the organization?

You know Mike is chomping at the bits to interview him.

He was the dude they fired right away, yet for whatever reason kept Rex Ryan. Lot's has been made of the fact that a GM is usually allowed to bring in their own people and of course this is just another example of the Jets tryna smash pieces together rather then letting someone mold and build something.

It's not a situation that can be molded yet. This was year 1 of letting certain deals bleed out. There's one more year to go.

Regardless of whatever bloodletting is being done the norm is when you hire a new GM you let them pick their crew, it's never to early to lay a foundation. There's been plenty of teams that have been expected to be ass for years to come and rebounded quick.... matter of fact the Jets were expected to struggle for a bit after the whole Favre situation.

The Jets are short sited it's not something that's new or a surprise to anyone. Their issue is management it doesn't matter if the bloodletting is done yet.

You could do alot worse than Rex Ryan, the only thing you can fault Rex is being loyal to Fez and there is no doubt he would have benched him earlier if it wasn't for the extension.

I don't know how much say he had in player personnel, especially when it came to the draft. I know he vouched hard for the Defense guys ( Mo, Coples, Wilson). We'll see how Kyle Wilson does next year, probably a position change. He didn't want Steven Hill, they still picked him ... it's not like he picked all the players.

I can't judge him on the 1st draft because, Fez was probably a woody pick and Greene was serviceable and that was the draft. The 2nd Draft we traded 2 picks for Braylon.

The reviews for Idzak by league insiders have been great. And it's been said he has a great relationship with agents, unlike Tannebaum. Hopefully this will help us keep Revis.

The more I hear about this, the more excited I am.

According to Rex, he gets 1 pick per year. In 2010, that pick was Jon Connor and last year it was Demario Davis. So he has some say in draft picks, as every coach should. Like Bill Parcells once said, "If I'm gonna cook the food, I should be able to shop for the groceries".
