I think Cordarelle Patterson is my guy if he's there at 9.

Wouldn't bother me if we got him or Jones.

Patterson's too raw. If I'm Idzik, I have to think there's plenty of receivers in this draft he can get later (TE above all right now needs to be the top skill position he needs to go after)

Also, this is his first draft. He NEEDS an impact player in round 1. Sure he needs them from pretty much every pick, but especially round 1. He can't afford to botch round 1. Patterson's not a finished product, and even if he was, given who's throwing to him, his QB won't make him look good. I just think Idzik needs to hit a grand slam with that first pick to not have people assume he's no different than his predecessor (who's been saying all along that Patterson would be the guy he'd take).

IMO the Jets will go something like this

1. OLB/DE or guard
2. TE
3. Safety
4. Guard
5. ?????
6. ???
7. ???

Now if the Jets trade down or deal Revis, then they'll have more picks to address more holes, but I don't see how we know how good Patterson (or any WR) can truly be til we get a new QB.

The only certainties I see are Jones and Warmack. If we trade Revis and have a 13, I'd want Patterson or Austin.

Teddy can throw it to them in 2014. :scheme:

Same here man.

For a big guy, he could be used just like Tayvon Austin, he's so good in the open field.

The kid is a playmaker w the ball in his hands and looks to be a natural WR even though he is a bit raw. If Patterson is raw than Hill is frozen.

Dion Jordan won't be there and Mingo seems like a guy you could lose your job over if he isn't the goods.

We're not taking a guard at 9.

The only thing I worry about with him is his habit of catching the ball with his body.

Who do you want then Mr Smarty Pants

Warmack.

If neither Jordan nor Warmack are there, trade down and accumulate more picks if possible.

Jarvis Jones I'm a little wary of due to his medicals, but he's the type of player that if he slipped to the Steelers or Giants or Pats, everyone would be giving their GM's verbal fellatio for taking him.

I agree there absolutely.

He'd be the second best player on the O-Line instantly behind Mangold. It's not a top heavy draft, and Warmack could very well go higher than 9. The team has no guards outside of injury prone Willie Colon. They can go get guards later if they want, but then they need a certified beast at OLB. Not many options there either.
