How many people aside from a few hardcores would go to watch a bad team play just to see a corner backpeddle?

Hes not a star pitcher or QB that sells seats

Revis sold seats. By your logic, nobody goes to Yankee Stadium to see Jeter or Mo.

So people were watching the Jets to watch Fez telegraph passes to the other team?

Answer the question. Why were people then paying PSL guap to watch the Jets? You think it's because of the love for the green and white? Woody's gonna have to buy so many tickets to avoid blackouts in October.

Why would anyone go see the Jets now?

The Jets sold out games when Coslet was the coach....its an NFL team in NY the fan base is there. The Jets didnt suddenly become a popular team because of Darrelle Revis like the COlts with Manning.

Jets had huge problems selling seats last two years regardless of numbers they make up of sold seats

and of course people went to see Jeter and Mariano i said pitchers but positon players do also sell seats

NFL is different its a team sport where players arent as noticeable and wear helmets and only the qb's sell seats

Nobody goes to watch a bad team play just to watch a corner run around, ive never hear someobdy say my teams 2-11 and we lost 6-3 in a horrific game but i went to watch a corner cover somebody

This topic has become exhausting, but the Jets had Revis for 6 seasons, paid him twice, almost got to the Super Bowl twice.

There's a new regime here and they decided to move on. He's 28, not 24. He's coming off a knee injury. They didnt want to pay him 16 mill.

NFL rosters are carousels. The only constant anymore is if you have a franchsie QB he's there for the long haul. Every other position is moving parts, especially now with the friendly rookie wage scale.

So how did the Niners turn week 4 at Jet Life into Candlestick East? Why was the stadium as gray on the inside as it is on the outside half the time? You had fans leaving the stadium at halftime.

There are 3 teams that can maintain a steady fanbase and fan turnout in NY when shyt gets rough: the Giants, the Rangers, and to a lesser extent, the Knicks. If you think things will be business as usual for the Jets this fall you're bugging. If they have one reason to go it's to verbally abuse Fez and the team.

If the team sucks people dont go, end of story. Even with Revis in uniform.

Holmes was a disaster too between the contract and the fact the locker room went to shyt after he got there

While Sanchez has been awful the past few years hes showed he can at least manage a game if he has the pieces around him but theyve basically given him nothing to work with the past year or two and brought in Tebow and done seemingly everything to sabotage him and fukk with this kids confidence which is now gone

All it proved was that Fez can't handle competition. Therefore, why would anyone want him as their team's QB anyway?

Can't ruin a guy's confidence when that guy doesn't exude confidence.

nikka we woulda been 3-13 with all them nikkas and revis

You Can't say that . With the draft you could of got players that' make a big impact to add with those pieces :skip: I'm confused by jets fans , why trade revis for draft picks if you think this ?? You need a qb so either trade all your assets (Cro , maybe Harris) and try to tank to bridgewater or you have to find a steal in the draft .your still too good most likely it's a chance you can get 5-6 wins and be :snoop:

Come now my dude lets be honest, CB do not sell seats...

With or without Revis the stadium would have still been filled with opposing fans this season...

Football ain't about one player, its about the team...Nobody wants to watch a shytty team in hopes that the $16 million dollar CB gets a pick...

Richardson, Wilkerson, Coples

I still Trust Rex on D

:manny:

The plan is probably to sabotage the Sanchez and the offense so we can draft a QB next year
