Let's do this:

I'll grant that everything that you said is true.

Ok.

Is that what happened in Trump's case?

Or not?

:bpthink:
i do believe he had bad years as a businessman, yes i do :ehh:

but i also believe that his accountants can make magic happen on those returns, yes i do, :ehh:

reasonable, yes? :ehh:

think of it like this

a small business corner store can accept cash only and mis report on their taxes

same as a barber

imagine the fukkery you can pull with 100s of millions of real estate and top notch accountants

We can be as disingenuous as you like, but at the end of the day i think you need to ask yourself why a "billionaire" is allowed to live so large while paying no taxes and pushing his losses forward into future years (continuing to allow him to pay no taxes) is allowed to go on....while you, the average taxpayer, has to foot the bill.

Like i said...manufactured consent.
It legit triggers me that I've paid more in taxes on my motherfukking biweekly check than this fukking cracker did in 10 years while peddling the idea of him being a billionaire. This shyt really really has me a kind of way.

Dead serious but I thought this was all common knowledge? Was it not public knowledge that he took massive losses in the early 90s that helped his tax bill for years?
the last part is the part that most people never understood. to understand that is to understand accounting I principals and to understand basic profit and loses when it comes to your taxes as a business person. so no, most people didnt think about that last part. all we use to say about trump back then was "this dude just wont go away. I aint mad at him. he keeps filing BR and keeps coming back. He's a hustler." This is why a lot of rappers use to have a line or two about him in their songs.

I think people are protesting weekly if not daily around the country. A fascist even drove into a group of protestors. Remember?
I dont recall the Charlotsville incident being an anti-Trump protest as a result of his tax evasion. So, as it pertains to this discussion...no, I dont remember.

His credit score had to be in shambles :picard: My people flip houses and credit is king. How on earth was he getting additional financing with billions in losses?

His father and then when he passed, got some help from his siblings share of the trusts their father left.

They tax dodged on the inheritance too.
