I believe you can take an $18 express bus from Newark Airport to grand central. Please choose this option cause Ubers to Manhattan from Newark are expensive.

I’ve personally used this express bus from Port Authority to Newark. So when you land ask the bus operator if the bus goes to grand central just to verify.
