A Haitian is easily recognized and I've never heard one announce they from Haiti.

I don't see why NYers still announce they from NY. It don't carry the same weight like it once did. It's mostly Latinos I hear announce it followed by the word "nikka". shyt be so corny cuz they 2 decades late with it and its a feeble attempt to chase clout using the residuals of a city's former reputation.

It really used to mean something back in the day. Pre gentrification you couldn't tell a BK nikka shyt.

Haitians came up tho. I remember when most came over around 92 in south florida. We used to clown the shyt outta of them in school. nikkas used to wear to church clothes to school and the girls used to rock bright ass pink and yellow dresses with black loafers:mjlol:
Was some initial beef but after they started dressing normal everyone started to kick it and play ball with each other.

Everybody had a nikka on the street named Jean. Can't front, had to get used to haitian spices when they moved on the street. That shyt used to stink.
My brother in law and my nieces and nephews are haitians so that's fam. nikkas love me and and me them. It's all love

Haitain here.

Real talk, we used to get made fun of for that shyt.

As of now it is dope to rep where you from no matter where you from, my fellow Zoe's are just reaping the benefits at this time. :blessed:

Also, I have never heard of these overly prideful Haitians, and for you to say they are as bad as New Yorkers who haven't even seen the rest of the country or worlds offerings is terrible. New York City is great, but there are cleaner, less congested, more affordable, food cities that can hang with it, and a lot more out there than it.

You mention that to a New Yorker and they get mad insecure... And I look at them like:gucci:

Chill B, your city is still a GOAT city, it's just not the world...

Haitians in NY kind of soft though they don’t got the clout of Haitians in Florida

Then Zoe’s in Florida are on some other shyt.

HaitianPatty, you’re good money in my eyes but stop it. I have to give props when it’s due, homie I’ve never seen a soft haitian ever especially in NY. Haitians came a long way and these people were born fighting. The amount of jokes and disrepect back in our elementary school days. Being laughed at all day, they have tough skin but when it came to fight? Man every last one of them have a screw loose. Little Haiti is on some other ish but Haitians in general don’t play. This Haitian chic threaten me with voodoo because I didn’t want to be with her :mjcry: Had me shook the entire year lol.

Soft was probably the wrong word but the Haitians in NY are fighters while the Haitians down in FL are shooters.

Lots of them people down there are loaded up including my blood brothers in West Palm Beach/Lake Worth.
