The MTA us Fukking up worse than ever right now, what is we gon do brehs?

things i noticed ..

- express trains running local all the time now
- trains dangerously crowded (yes i know ridership is higher than ever)
-stations in CAC areas have heaters but in the hood:mjpls:
-excessive mechanical/ signal related delays

the MTA has automation technology (CBTC used on L train) that will allow them to run more trains but their not implementing it. price keeps going up service getting worse. we need to organize to put some pressure on the MTA, de blasio, cuomo to stop ignoring these issues

i couldn't completely eliminate the train as a transportation option. theres always times when above ground transportation isnt a good option. unless you trying to blow stupid money on parking or sitting in trafic in an uber

Yesterday I took the train to work cause I didn't want to lose my spot cause I'd get home too late. Big mistake.

Get to woodhaven blvd, F train running on the R line, train was there but it was jam packed. I wasn't about to get on that.

M train comes and I get on, doors take like 5 minutes to close every stop, then there's like another 7-10 minute delay before it starts moving...for every stop :why:

After Grand Ave, the shyt is packed, it took literally 25 minutes to get from Woodhaven to Roosevelt avenue. There's no excuse for that bullshyt.

I ended up taking a Lyft home, no way I was fukking with that bullshyt again.

the 5 boroughs population has increased 6% in 10 years.

do that math on how many EXTRA people that is joining in the past 10 years.
and that percentage increase was never like that since the days of Ellis Island.
yet we havent had a new subway line in how many decades ?

this is my point. their not even trying to keep up with ridership

I blame midwest transplants and MTA mismanagement.

During the summer, i just ride my bike to work. About 45 minutes each way.

Winter though, im at the mtas mercy.

Btw the 7 train extension to 34th was a waste of money. I work near by and it takes forever to get from 42nd to 34th. I can get to work faster by taking the a c e and just walking.
