Was Newark in the 90s worse than New York?

Hard to say, just looked it up

so in 1995 Newark had 250,000 ppl and 105 murders

NYC had 18 million ppl and 1,500 murder

Camden had about 65,000 ppl and almost 160 murders

So by the #s Camden is Afghanistan status

But honestly all three places were not somewhere you would want to be if you weren't from around there

As the new generation of youth over violence will go down in most areas, big difference in the older rappers and the younger cats. People are way more individualized these days and self center and women have more power than ever before. Cats will get in the money game to compete.

NY gentrification was only the beginning, alot of hoods are gonna get destroyed.

Really is about the women they determine the trends and most dudes will follow through. The gang oriented days and street days are winding down Imo.
