Nah...folks was oding with that Friday. My chick seen it too. All over north nikkas was cooking out :snoop: on my block too but them nikkas always grilling when its warm
I was in North too on Friday and saw none of this stuff man. I saw dudes hanging out on the corners near corner stores and the like but cookouts nah man. If y'all saw it though y'all saw it but I'm still not going to act like it was the norm. I guess that's more my point and it always feels like cats come on here with some other motive for saying this stuff. I could be wrong though.

We need to take control of our Neighborhoods.........

Could care less what he has to say:

1.He's done nothing to address the gentrification problem in black neighborhoods.

2.He's done nothing to increase economic development in black cities that have large amounts of abandoned buildings and empty lots(Detoit, chicago,Baltimore, cleveland,Newark etc etc.....)

I agree... too many White Police in predominantly Black neighborhoods are a problem.

Instead of these athletes kneeling, why don't they invest 15-25% of their post tax money into the black diaspora ?.....Kneeling and marching ain't doing shyt for our black people. The media/racist are using this shyt as one big distraction. We should be more concerned with:

1.Holding our black politicians accountable.
2.Buying up the real estate/land in black neighborhoods/cities.
3.Isolating then banishing the sell outs,uncle toms,c00ns,ratchet females,gang bangers.
4.Building and creating businesses, factories, schools, and financial institutions.
5.Learning and Diversifying our individual Technical and Trade skills.
6.Learning how to be self sufficient(Feed ourselves)
Etc
etc
etc........

I support black people who support the black diaspora.

Rocnation sold
Beats by Dre sold
Defjam sold
Bet sold

How did any of the money from these sold companies help black people ? we build the value of these companies up,then they sell them off without re-investing the money into the black diaspora.

I'm tired of supporting negros who turn around and sell their companies to corporations

I'm not hating on anybody in this thread.I just want black people to unify and do for self as a collective.

I have no issues with non-Black people speaking on black issues as long as they're building black wealth and bringing positivity to the community...I don't believe in blindly supporting Black people......Support the Black and Non-Black people who have the ideas that are going to elevate the Black diaspora.......However,Fat Joe is trash....Any Non-Black person who justifies saying the word N**** doesn't get my respect.

Would've been better off investing that 1 million in a black neighborhood.Award five 200k small business grants to 5 black qualified families/people.They keep 75% of the profits,he gets the other 25%.

We need to make sure these banks are black owned and not just a front for whitey.Like when a rappers claim to own a business, but most of the money is going in to the pockets of a white man.

I'm not the biggest Lavar Ball fan.....But I will support him 100% just to see him stick it to these greedy ass sneaker companies. They can't stand to see a black man take control of his money and destiny. They want all athletes, especially the black ones to be employees instead of the employer.

Not really....Hillary is only commenting on the Black Church fires because she doesn't want backlash. If she really cared about the Black Church fires she would've said something prior to the fire in Paris.

Black man should have jump in,beat the shyt out of the White guy, then started a Go Fund me for $500,000.

We focus too much on what people are doing for the black diaspora instead of weeding out and disassociating with the individuals who are destroying our communities.

Who cares how much african blood this woman has in her DNA.She's not going to get racially profiled nor discriminated against as a black person would.

Wakefern Confirms Coronavirus Case at Newark ShopRite

March 23, 2020

A staff member at this Newark ShopRite tested positive for COVID-19. The company is performing an enhanced deep cleaning, disinfecting all workspaces used by the associate and common areas.

NEWARK, NJ — Wakefern Food Corporation confirmed a staff member at the ShopRite store in Newark tested positive for the coronavirus over the weekend after a letter sent home to employees circulated on Facebook, prompting city residents to question whether their safety was at risk.

On Saturday, Mayor Ras Baraka imposed a shelter-in-place order for three areas in the city identified as “hot spots” for the virus. The ShopRite is located in the Area 2 hotspot, but the employee who tested positive is not a Newark resident, according to Central Ward Councilwoman LaMonica McIver, who addressed the matter on Facebook.

“Those workers that may have come in contact with the employee have been directed to self- quarantine and follow-up with their respective Healthcare Professional,” she said in a post. “The City of Newark’s Health Office and I have been in constant contact with ShopRite representatives about important measures to protect employees and residents who shop there.

Daniel Emmer, a spokesperson for Wakefern, the supermarket cooperative that owns the ShopRite brand, said ShopRite of Newark is adhering to CDC guidelines and implementing an enhanced deep cleaning process, which includes disinfecting all workspaces used by the associate and common areas.

The store will remain open and continue to follow all necessary guidelines as recommended by the CDC.

“We are proud of the amazing dedication our associates are demonstrating, and we thank them for their service to our customers in keeping stores open and shelves stocked with the essentials they need,” Emmer said. “We wish our associate well and a speedy recovery, and we thank our customers for their patience and continued support.”

Newark police officer Tolbert A. Furr, 59, died due to complications with the coronavirus on Friday at Clara Maass Medical Center, Newark Public Safety Director Anthony F. Ambrose announced.

Special Police Officer Furr, who was also a resident of the city, served as a Newark cop for 25 years, according to Ambrose.

“The City of Newark grieves collectively with the family of Special Police Officer Furr,” Newark Mayor Ras Baraka said in a statement. “This is a loss that touches us all.”

As of March 31, 163 police officers statewide have tested positive for COVID-19.

“On behalf of the entire Department of Public Safety, Chief of Police Darnell Henry and I extend our deepest condolences to Officer Furr’s family," Ambrose said. "He will be remembered with distinction for his longstanding commitment and service to our residents.”

Furr’s death adds to the rising total of coronavirus-related fatalities in New Jersey. Gov. Phil Murphy announced 113 new deaths on Friday, bringing the state’s total to 646. The state also reported 4,372 new cases, and at least 29,895 people have tested positive for the coronavirus in New Jersey.
