If ya'll have already reported this, please pardon the double post.

First, New Japan is moving to extend their brand. This is a very smart move given that more Americans are being educated about their wresters.

New Japan Announce Major International Expansion

New Japan announced the company is undergoing a major international expansion according to PWInsider.com.

The promotion will be working with Ring of Honor, Global Force Wrestling, the NWA, CMLL, Revolution Pro and WXW, but made no mention of WWE.

New Japan did announce they will be debuting a “Young Lions” program, which will be a developmental system similar to NXT, but it will not be affiliated with NXT in any way.

Also, the wrestler that TNA didn't appreciate has just added another belt to his trophy case.

This has been already reported in the puro thread :manny:

But honestly, this isn't really news at all. New Japan just announced stuff it was already known and gave a new name for their Young Lions program by comparing it to NXT, but there's nothing groundbreaking about it :manny:
