When you think of the Doors you're not thinking that the drummer wrote the lyrics. You think of the front man. They are the face. Ozzy was the face of Heavy Metal for over 40 years.

One of my favorite groups ever is Depeche Mode. Martin Gore, the keyboardist writes their shyt. But Dave Gahan is the band. The fronts always get the love.

I should have specified his solo stuff, but he absolutely wrote more than just a couple.

He would hum the melody and send it to Lem. Then Lem would write the lyrics to match the melody
