I was listening to a stream today and the host made a point that resonated with me. Voting for Democrats is essentially delaying fascism. A far right autocracy is always one missed vote away and just one term of a Republican can do irrevocable damage.

I think what's more feasible is the complete erosion of voter rights and protections to where our ability to influence elections are effectively neutered.
