Oh they did initially until Ubi came through and nerfed them all after hoodwinking people into buying them. It was where the diamond runes could be inserted into all the gear of armor instead of sorely on the weapons and I think the helmet.
Referred to it as a "oversight" yet didn't bother to change it until months after release when people had already spent the bread on it

for their actions though lol. I don't do micotransactions anyways, so I have no vested interest in it. Just saw people on Reddit complaining about it.my bad...AC has had a game drop every year since 2007 up until 2020 EXCEPT for 2019 so that totally disqualifies it from being considered a yearly release

they didn’t put one out in 2016 either, but it’s no coincidence that the year they did take out to spend more time on their game they put out easily the best AC since AC2 (Origins)
It took Syndicate tanking back in 2015 to help steer them toward the path of doing away with the year release schedule.
Originally, Odyssey wasn’t supposed to be an AC game, but they didn’t that it would sell without the AC game. It’s unfortunate that it was a success as we got Valhalla out of it and the current path AC is on now.
I can’t speak on valhalla too much cuz I didn’t play it but I wasn’t wowed by what I seen tho...sounds like you enjoyed the game tho...if it goes on deep sale I might try it

I do wonder how good of an assassins creed game they could make if they actually spend 3-4 years on development. It doesn’t really matter though since they sell like crazy anyway.
