Neil Druckmann says his current project has been in the works since 2020, while Sony doesn't let him control how he's going to announce it, they gave him full control over the game itself

sounds like an announcement within the next few months

A time travel game :ohhh:

There’s a tv show that’s doing time travel now. I thing it’s called “To” or something :troll:

This is from 2021:

According to it, Naughty Dog's next IP is code-named Stray's Cross, a first-person action-adventure game set in a steampunk universe. Similar to The Last of Us 2, the game will allegedly feature two protagonists, a former female scientist searching for answers and a wanted criminal man who was formerly a construction worker. It's apparently an end-of-the-world story where the two protagonists work together to find a way out of this precarious situation.

Also found this:

"...it is said there will be two protagonist: one being a brilliant scientist obsessed with space-time studies, the other being a "criminal" who is innocent. All of this supposedly ties into to some story about a space conflict dating back ages."

I don’t believe this next part but:

It's been rumored this game is being developed flat, but with PSVR2 support. I imagine this is the kind of game that if launched on PSVR2 first especially, would blow open the doors on PSVR2 sales and it may be the secret game teased in the newest PSVR2 adv. from Sony

Studio Head & Head of Creative, Naughty Dog

One of Druckmann's earliest video game memories is of his older brother bringing home a Pong machine. But it wasn't until he discovered the point-and-click adventures from California-based publisher Sierra Games that he "felt that magic" that he would later try to reverse engineer in his work as head of Naughty Dog. One of Druckmann's first projects with the company was "Jak 3" and he later went on to work as one of the lead developers on "The Last of Us." Although he couldn't spare any details, Druckmann says he and his team have something big coming on the horizon that marks the "most excited he has ever been" for a project. After directing an episode of the upcoming Season 2 of HBO's "The Last of Us," Druckmann says that seeing the show come to life has been completely surreal — he has to "pinch himself" when standing on physical sets like Joel's house. — Jack Dunn

:ohhh:Wasn’t there a leak some years ago. That said we’ll play as two different characters in a steampunk setting. Dealing with time travel or I’m tripping.
