Pre-made 40ish minute video showing off the games

then the Treehouse format where company reps sit down and do decent length videos that play through the game.

These 2 or so hour long press conferences are getting out of hand. They're way too long and filled with stuff many of us don't care about as well as a bunch of filler. Every year they have live playthroughs of the same games (Assassin's Creed, Call of Duty ect) that take up huge chunks of them. Long monologues of uncharismatic CEOs talking about how many hours people spend gaming online and other useless stats and bs. They're clearly struggling to have enough content to go the two hours. This isn't even getting to all the mistakes that happen during them like at the Sony one of all the people that lose streams during them. Most gamers are watching online anyway.
Nintendo is seldom ever a pioneer when it comes to embracing new tech but they clearly have it right here.
