Because PS4 isn't backwards compatible with PS3...Completely ignoring how PS3's unique hardware setup plays a part in that.

Playing old games is a bonus and while it's great, I never buy a new console to go into it like "Man I can't wait to pop in (old game)"

When I bought a PS4, I was sold on the new exclusives as well as new features.

There was a few ps3's compatible with PS2 games tho... Only problem is now the jump from 4 to 5 should have the same architechture so they should be able to be BC there's still a ton of good games out on ps4 that is worth playing on a new system.

Also.... cats that may like their older games or maybe to the folks that for whatever reason, at the time ____ great game dropped and they wasnt able to cop or slept on it.

Another reason BC is convenient is cuz aint know one trynna have like 2 or 3 consoles in they living room and clogging up all the HDMI ports (or having to disconnent/connect each time).

Its one thing if you have say a PS5 and Xbox TWO (or whatever they gonna name it). But now have your Xbox One AND PS4 all in your entertainment set up? Man fukk that.

But again I guess it dont matter..... the vibe I'm getting is Heavenly Sword, Resistance, Killshot Uncharted 3, The Last of Us, God of War are garbage overhyped games
