Yeah it really is, I couldn't believe you could watch TV on it. I'm lowkey mad that you can't watch TV through the PS4, I'm missing out.
I'm gonna go out on a limb and say if that feature came free as part of Playstation and you could seamlessly integrate your TV watching and gaming and transition from one to the other with just a few words you'd probably be using it but since Sony didn't think of it you shyt on it not because its a bad idea but because the brand you fight for didn't think of it.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that if that feature came free as part of Playstation and you could seamlessly integrate your TV watching and gaming and transition from one to the other with just a few words I'd probably not be using it seeing as how I don't even have cable installed in my bedroom. I haven't watched cable TV in years.

Same with voice commands, PS4 has it and I never bother using em, it's just there :yeshrug:

It's the same with how some Xbox brehs was acting like they don't care about a screenshot feature in that other thread I made the other day knowing damn well it's because PS4 has it which is why they act like they don't care about it. Right now there's absolutely NOTHING about the XB1 that even piques my curiosity feature wise. Only thing I am interested in the Xbox for is Halo and Gears of War. Everything else isn't a factor.

Even snapping apps to me is useless as I don't want to take up any screen real estate with something unrelated to gaming. It's the same with Windows 8, I don't bother using the snap like feature, it's useless to me. Even with the chance that the Xbox gets an update for something that the PS4 doesn't have yet, it's only a matter of time until the PS4 gets it.

Forza Demo is insane... Not sure what you are talking about.
You might wanna reread my post

It's not even about watching TV, it's about the ease from switching between multiple things and going back to it whenever you feel. The multitasking. I could have 2 or 3 games running in the background (if I'm not mistaken), have some shyt snapped while games are loading, the apps are MUCH better, etc.

I don't even have cable, yet I'm watching Starz, CW, ESPN, etc.,

That's another area where XB shines over PS4. It feels more convenient.

I use both systems a lot, but once certain games start dropping on XB then idk:yeshrug:

You sure?

You might be right but I don't ever remember having to close one game to open another. Even if it's digital

But I could be wrong...

Edit:

Oh I think you meant I could play multiple games... Nah you can't do that. But if I switch from NBA to Destiny I don't think it closes out NBA. Not sure, got to check on it when I get back

But I know you can have ultisols games and apps open/running

Another wouldn't rise. It would just be Sony and Nintendo. The Xbox people would shift over to Sony and the arrogance would return. "Oh we're a monopoly now? we can do whatever we like."

As much as Sony fanboys try to shyt on Microsoft that company did a hell of a lot for console gaming. The unified online system we have now with a single account across all games and an online marketplace was brought to console gaming by Microsoft and Sony copied it. Party chat across all games, custom soundtracks, cross game invites. Standardizing consoles connecting online without buying extra accessories.

Yeah it would. How you think Sony and Microsoft got in the game in the first place amidst Sega and Nintendo. Corporations, brands, trends, etc. come and go all the time in all markets. If one goes down, another will rise. It's as simple as that. Another coming in at this point in time with 3 tog dawgs out there isn't too likely, but even that could happen. And it sure as shyt it would happen if either of the current ones phased out. I remember when Sony first came in the game, damn near everyone was trying to get in the game.

TYRONE GA!
People are being delusional if they think some other multi-billion dollar corporation is gonna step into home console gaming and not just do come cheap ass Android console. If the Xbox fails nobody else is gonna wanna chase that dream. It will be too difficult to start a whole new brand with less recognition than the Xbox has built up over the last decade and try to compete with Sony and Nintendo it took Microsoft from 2001 to now to reach where they are and last generation Sony had to really mess up to open the door and on top of that Microsoft had to blow billions. This game is a lot harder than yall wanna give it credit and nobody else really wants a piece of it.

Honestly it took a 600 dollar PS3 for the Xbox brand to get the momentum they had. If the PS3 dropped at 400 dollars even with the year hard start, things would easily have been different. But it wasn't.....

MS showed their true colors last year during the launch and build up. wouldn't trust those fakkits ever again, but of course nikkaz go running right back to them.

Yea yea say what you want...the box and ps4 can do the same shyt with minimal difference in ps4 favor. But the box really is a all in one device. You can down play it all day acting like it's a minus but why?:dwillhuh:
Add to the fact that the box is constantly getting updates while ps4 is stagnant. My ps4 is collecting dust just like my ps3...frankly I wish I never brought it

Did you not notice the effort it took, the billions and years for Microsoft to build the Xbox brand to a #2 borderline #3 brand in the industry? The game entirely belongs to Sony if Microsoft drops out. Nobody envys them or wants to dump all that cash into a # 3 spot. We'll go back to PS2 generation dominance if Microsoft drops out.

It's an all in one device and yet it can't take screenshots of games. :snooze:
Sorry if I'm not interested in a gaming device that doubles as a compass and voice recorder.

PS4 gets big updates in one fell swoop.

Last gen PS3 got updates like damn near every 3-4 days and cats was complaining about it so now they just drop updates in one big dump.

As for your PS4 collecting dust, that's your problem. Your situation isn't indicative of everyone else's. that's the lamest rejoinder I see whenever someone isn't dikkriding the Xbox: "B-b-b-but my PS4 is dusty it get's no play time! :sadcam:"

So nikka??

The screenshot feature is on their list to add to Xbox One. It doesn't really matter because the console does videos and actually records them right. More than half the time I hit the share button on my PS4 it isn't actively recording like it's supposed to be but every time I say Xbox record that it is actually recording.

:cape: How did I know you'd resort to deflecting??

Ps4 actively recording in the background isn't the same thing as your Xbox recording when you tell it to. That's two completely different things. When i double tap the share button to record, things are recording. When I'm done, I just go to the share menu and the video automatically saves. Background recording works the same way.

Its not a deflection If you can record a video you can produce a screenshot from the video.

The PS4 is supposed to actively record your gameplay in 15 minute buffers and when you hit the share button give you access to that buffer. That feature hasn't worked properly for me since launch week. Its a known bug. The Xbox One always actively records your gameplay and when you say Xbox record that it just produces a video from it's buffer and uploads it for you.

In fact the Xbox will record and upload moments on its own
http://xboxclips.com/videos.php?gamertag=Winb83&count=30#
most of these I didn't even have to tell it to record. some of them I obviously wouldn't have told it to record but a cool moment could happen that you forgot to make a video of and the console can still do it for you.
