nah if they actually do it wont last, i remember the n64 first dropped and turok came out .. was 70 bucks but i think the u didnt get many games that would comtinue to be released at such a high price

part of the price of those SNES games was the fact it was on a cartridge. the amount of chips needed on the board actually varied from game to game. not to mention games like StarFox that had the 'FX' chip

and people wonder why all ive ever really bought this gen was used games 
besides a couple like red dead redemption, battlefield 3, fall out new vegas, gta 4, out of about 60 games, those were the only ones i bought new. i enjoy having alot of cash left over...its so funny walking into someones place and all they have is brand new games, but you ask them how many they have and its like 20 at the most. think smarter.
im not paying 60 dollars+ for something thats going to have some short a$$ story, and then you turn around and throw a bunch of multipayer in there like im really going to care. my friend wanted to borrow a game yesterday(this motherfukker only has like 8), and the very first thing he asked was, which one has the better multiplayer? i like to have alot of options, not feel like im contained" all i could do was

It's not speculation it's analysis by an analyst and it's actually a big deal because analysts are the ones that analyze the market and determine which prices will work. Even If games were not gonna be $70, just the fact that a respected analyst says they will could influence the market.

Didn't say anything about Microsoft or Sony. I just find it funny that you didn't step in complaining about the obviously misleading threads made by 3cepts.
The thread title is as it is because I belive it to be true. EA has said it. This dude has said it, and plenty of other analysts/industry insiders have said it. At this point I'd be surprised if they don't cost $70 EA won't be the only ones charging that much, the rest of the industry will follow.
